RJD to sue PM for breach of trust, fraud with people of Bihar

Patna,(BiharTimes): RJD national vice president and former Union rural development minister Raghuvansh Prasad Singh said that his party has decided to lodge cases of breach of trust and forgery against prime minister Narendra Modi for committing alleged fraud with people of Bihar by not giving the funds which he promised in the Rs 1.25 lakh crore special package to the state and also for reducing Centre’s share in Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojna (PMGSY).

"We will drag Narendra Modi to the court as he has committed breach of trust and fraud with people in the name of special package. Modi is now backtracking from allocating 100% fund to Bihar for the projects and schemes he announced under the Rs 1.25 lakh crore special package during the 2015 assembly polls,” the RJD leader was quoted in the Times of India on Monday.

He also said he was consulting some top lawyers so that a strong case could be made out against Modi.
“What is the literal meaning of word ‘package’? It means a group of objects wrapped in packet/paper/ cloth or packed in a box. In Hindi, you can say it a ‘Gathari’. When Modi announced a special package for Bihar, it implied that he was giving a packet of Rs 1.25 lakh crore to Bihar for expenditure on the schemes/ projects included in that package. Now, we, the people of Bihar, are feeling cheated as Modi and his government has backtracked from giving full amount under the projects mentioned in the special package,” Raghuvansh Singh said.
