Patna,(BiharTimes): Congress president Sonia Gandhi, vice president Rahul Gandhi, Bihar and Delhi CMs Nitish Kumar and Arvind Kejriwal and RJD supremo Lalu Prasad were notable absentee in the book launching ceremony of Shatrughan Sinha in New Delhi on Wednesday. This was so notwithstanding the fact that they were invited.
However, the sidelined BJP leaders L K Advani, and Yashwant Sinha and suspended party MP Kirti Azad, were present to grace the occasion.
Also present in the function were Union ministers Harsh Vardhan and V K Singh, Congress leader Randeep Surjewala, CPI (M) general secretary Sitaram Yechury and former Samajwadi Party leader Amar Singh.
Shatrughan Sinha’s biography “Anything But Khamosh” would be launched in Mumbai, Pune and Patna too and Bihari Babu is sure that the two Bihar stalwarts would be present in the function in Patna.
He said that as the Wednesday function took place in New Delhi Nitish and Lalu could not attend.
On the absence of Sonia, Rahul and Kejriwal the Patna Sahab MP said he understands that they have busy schedules.
