Manjhi urges Nitish to quit if he feels under pressure from an influential ally

Patna,(BiharTimes): Hindustani Awam Morcha president Jitan Ram Manjhi on Thursday urged chief minister Nitish Kumar to quit his post if he felt being under pressure by what he called an influential ally.
Talking to reporters he said rumours are doing the rounds in the media that Nitish Kumar is being undermined and not allowed to function freely.
According to former CM he also feels that though Nitish holds the crown, somebody else is calling the shots. If Nitish is feeling helpless he must resign from his post.
Though Manjhi did not take anyone’s name his comment came four days after RJD chief’s surprise visit to Indira Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences last Sunday.
Manjhi also charged that senior bureaucrats are not willing to serve in the state because of the pressure exerted by a powerful ally.
He claimed that at least 35 senior IAS and IPS officers have made written request to the state government to be allowed to leave for central deputation as they were unable to serve in Bihar due to unbearable intervention from various quarters within and outside the government.
