Patna,(BiharTimes): The Bihar cabinet on Tuesday decided to rename the Kankarbagh-based College of Commerce as College of Commerce, Arts and Science. It is a premier college of Magadh University in Patna.

A sum of Rs 50 crore has been sanctioned to the Indira Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences, Patna for the expenditure under the establishment cost in the 2015-16. 

It decided to do away with the existing Budget Manual which was implemented on October 1, 1953. It okayed the proposal to implement new state Budget Manual 2016. 

The old state budget manual has been archaic now because of the inclusion of more recent additions.

The cabinet also gave its nod to the proposal of the home department to revise the wages of the inmates of jails in the state. Those who are skilled will get wage of Rs 156 while the semi skilled will get Rs 112. The non skilled will get Rs 103. This wage would be besides the daily Rs 91 food allowances.
