Patna,(BiharTimes): Bihar health minister Tej Pratap Yadav on Wednesday strongly defended his father and RJD chief Lalu Prasad phone-call to civil surgeon of Darbahnga urging him to reinstate some Mamta health workers whose services were discontinued sometimes back.

Tej Pratap said Lalu is not only the national president of RJD but also a leading politician of the country. Thus it is his ‘farz’ (obligation) to help if someone approaches him. People should not play politics over it.

He said that opposition was making unnecessary hue and cry over this non-issue as it is in the state of depression ever since it lost the election last year.
