RJD reduces membership age from 18 to 15 years

Patna,(BiharTimes): The RJD has become the first party in the country to reduce the age of acquiring membership from 18 to 15 years.
With two young sons of its chief Lalu Prasad––Tejaswi Yadav and Tej Pratap––ministers in the Nitish Kumar cabinet the party seems to be concentrating its attention on youths.
A resolution in this regard was passed by the party at its two-day national council meeting (Jan 16-17) in Patna.
The meeting was attended by party’s functioanaries from 22 states of the country.
Seven proposals were passed at the meeting, including the amendment in the party’s constitution to reduce the age of membership.
