JD(U) may not contest Punjab poll, likely to back AAP

Patna,(BiharTimes): Though Janata Dal (United) is running the government with the support of RJD and Congress in Bihar, it is most likely to back the Aam Admi Party in the Punjab Assembly election to be held later this year.
JD(U) sources said that the gesture would be in line with the AAP’s decision not to contest the Bihar poll and prevent division in non-BJP votes.
Both Delhi and Bihar CMs Arvind Kejriwal and Nitish Kumar are good friends and they have a common rival––the BJP.
Interestingly, Congress and AAP both are emerging as a strong contenders in Punjab.
