Patna,(BiharTimes): BJP leader Sushil Kumar Modi on Tuesday dubbed Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar as “Bechara Mukhya Mantri” (Helpless Chief Minister) as he is unable to act against the leaders of his own party, who have taken law into their hands.

He dared Nitish Kumar to act against the JD(U) law-makers, who are allegedly involved in criminal activities to make it clear that “rule of law prevails in Bihar.”

Referring to Awadesh Mandal’s escape he said that no action has been taken either against JD(U) MLA Bima Bharati or the party MP, Santosh Kushwaha, who, alleged facilitate the gangster run away from police custody. Both these leaders have, however, denied their involvement.

The former deputy CM said that Nitish Kumar has become helpless before these leaders. Ironically, Bima Bharati was the JD(U) MLA even when BJP was in alliance with the BJP. She went on to become a minister in Jitan Ram Manjhi cabinet in June 2014, though she could not took the oath properly.

This is not the first time that she has got into controversy. But earlier the BJP leaders were not critical of her because she was a legislator of NDA.

Similarly, Santosh Kushwaha was a senior BJP MLA, who switched over to the JD(U) just before the last Lok Sabha election to get the party ticket for Purnea seat, which he ultimately won.
