SuMo questions Nitish’s anti-liquor campaign only against ‘BJP-ruled states’

Patna,(BiharTimes): Though it is in Uttar Pradesh that Nitish Kumar has addressed maximum number of rallies demanding total prohibition––the last one in Noida on June 29––senior Bihar BJP leader, Sushil Kumar Modi, think that the Bihar chief minister is using it as a political tool against the BJP-ruled states.

In a statement former deputy chief minister asked Nitish why not is he calling upon the states ruled by the Congress, Left parties and Aam Admi Party to enforce total prohibition and targeting only the BJP-ruled states.

It is true Nitish always cites the example of the BJP-ruled Gujarat to press his point in favour of prohibiton as liquor was banned in that wwestern Indian state several decades back.

SuMo said that the people of Bihar had voted him to power for development and not for touring the country to make a political capital out of enforcement of prohibition.
