Nitish helping Samajwadi Party in UP, says Amit Shah

Patna,(BiharTimes): BJP national president Amit Shah on Saturday called Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar a ‘vote katwa’ who will try to divide votes to prevent the victory of saffron party in Uttar Pradesh in the 2017 Assembly elections and thus help the ruling party.

Addressing the Jan Swabhiman rally in Varanasi organised by Apna Dal, an NDA constituent, to mark the 67th birth anniversary of its founder (now late) Sone Lal Patel he claimed that Nitish is campaigning in UP to facilitate the Samajwadi Party to form its government.

Appealing to the people to vote sensibly Shah said even Nitish knows that his party cannot win one seat in UP Assembly election.

Shah’s present in Apna Dal’s rally is significant as this party is considered as an outfit of Kurmis, the caste to which Nitish Kumar belongs. The latter is trying to woo his castemen in UP towards the Janata Dal (United).

Amit Shah, however, did not miss the occasion to target Samajwadi Party and accused it of patronizing criminals.
