Nitish, Manjhi come together at Lalu’s Iftar party

Patna,(BiharTimes): The present Bihar chief minister, Nitish Kumar, and his predecessor Jitan Ram Manjhi came together in Patna on Friday evening at the Iftar party hosted by RJD chief Lalu Prasad at the newly allotted bungalow of health minister Tej Pratap.

Nitish, however, told the journalists that they should not attach any political meaning to it as it was the festive occasion of Iftar organized at 3 Deshratna Marg bungalow.
Lalu, as a perfect host, invited by both Nitish and Manjhi on this occasion. Photographs showing Nitish sitting in the middle flanked by both Lalu and Manjhi hit page one of most newspaper in Patna the following day.

There were a large number of other leaders cutting across the party lines who were present on the occasion. RJD chief said that he even invited BJP leaders on this occasion.

Newly elected RJD Rajya Sabha MPs, Misa Bharati and Ram Jethmalani too were present on the occasion.

Nitish and Manjhi publicly came together last time in February last at a tea party hosted at Raj Bhawan. But that was a very different occasion.
