Patna,(BiharTimes): Seven days after the arrest the 2013 batch IAS officer and SDO of Mohania in Kaimur district, Dr Jitendra Gupta has not yet been suspended from service.

Be it pressure from IAS Officers’ Association or any other factor, the state government has not taken any such action against Dr Gupta though a government servant automatically stands suspended 48 hours after detention. Dr Gupta was arrested on July 12 nigh, yet the government has not officially issue a notification regarding his suspension. It has already been reported that the Bihar chapter of IAS Officers’ Association,  has called his arrest improper.
