Patna,(BiharTimes): Protesting against the thrashing of Dalits in Gujarat for carrying out the traditional profession of skinning the hide of dead animals, hundred of members of Scheduled Castes, under the banner of Ambedkar Sangharsh Morcha, on Monday demonstrated outside office of Magadh divisional commissioner in Gaya seeking cow-like treatment for them.

Reports said that the demonstrators, many of them without any cloth on the upper part of their bodies, brought a cow to drive home the message they wanted to convey. They carried placards demanding freedom from Brahmanism. One of the placards alleged Dalits and Muslims were being targeted in the name of cow.
