Vaishali court orders FIR against Mayawati

 


Patna,(BiharTimes): Chief Judicial Magistrate of Vaishali Jairam Prasad on Thursday ordered registration of an FIR in Hajipur Town Police Station against Bahujan Samaj Party president Mayawati and three other party leaders for allegedly making inflammatory speeches last week.

The court took cognizance of a complaint filed by Hajipur resident Ajit Singh. The three other leaders against whom case have been lodged are BSP’s national general secretary Nasimuddin Siddiqui, Uttar Pradesh unit president Ram Achal Rajbhar and State secretary Mewa Lal.

Ajit Singh claimed that he felt aggrieved by the inflammatory speeches made by Ms. Mayawati and her party workers, affecting unity and integrity of the country.

Mayawati made this speech in Lucknow on July 21 after the then UP BJP vice president Daya Shankar Singh made a highly objectionable remarks against the former UP CM.
