Plus-2 results row: Govt constitutes two separate committees

 

Patna,(BiharTimes): The Bihar government on Sunday constituted two separate committees to probe the large scale irregularities in the Bihar School Examination Board exams.

Retired Patna High Court judge Ghanshyam Prasad will head a three-member committee, constituted to probe into the matter related to irregularities in result of Intermediate examination.

A retired judge G P Shrivastava and a retired IPS officer Mitthu Prasad are the other two members. The committee will submit its report at the earliest.

The second three-member committee comprises Managing Director of Bihar State Educational Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited Sanjeevan Sinha, Secondary Education Director Rajeev Prasad Singh Ranjan and Mass Education

Director Vinodanand Jha. The second committee has been entrusted with the task of probing toppers scam. It was constituted soon after chief minister Nitish Kumar, while talking to the media in JD(U) office on Sundary morning, said nobody, irrespective of his post and position would be spared if found guilty of complicity in the scam. The committee has been given the deadline of June 20 for submitting its report.
