JD(U) denies reports of missing fodder scam files

Patna,(BiharTimes): The Janata Dal (United) on Wednesday denied the charge that some files related to Rs 950 crore fodder scam have been missing from the animal husbandry department of the state secretariat.

The denial came after a section of media and the BJP alleged that these files were related to the fodder scam case.

In one case of the scam RJD chief Lalu Prasad had already been convicted.

Chief minister Nitish Kumar would not let anyone interfere. Truth would come out, Ali Anwar said adding that the police is investigating the matter.

Earlier, BJP MLA Nitin Navin accused chief minister Nitish Kumar of shielding RJD chief as it is on his support that the Grand Alliance government is surviving.

The BJP leader said Nitish Kumar is accountable for whatever had happened. He should tell how and why is he protecting Lalu Prasad.
