Patna,(BiharTimes): Former chairman of Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) Lalkeshwar Prasad Sinha on Wednesday confessed that he had taken Rs 20 lakh from a cheating racket kingpin to help each unworthy student get top marks.

He reportedly admitted before the police of having taken Rs four lakh for granting affiliation to each intermediate college. Lalkeshwar and his wife, Usha Sinha, along with others arrested in the toppers scam were remanded to three-day police custody by a district court.
