Raghubar Das throws gates of educational institutes open for Bihari students

 

Patna,(BiharTimes): Jharkhand chief minister Raghubar Das on Sunday threw the gates of educational institutes of his state open for the students of Bihar.

Commenting on the condition of education in Bihar after Bihar School Examination Board scam he said that once Bihar was known for education but due to politics and mafia, no faith had been left in the education system.

According to the Jharkhand CM development and prosperity are the yardsticks of intellectual asset of any state. For this, educational infrastructure, institutions and transparency are essential.

Incidentally, Raghubar went on to say that even during undivided Bihar, that is before 2000, Jharkhand was known as the education hub.

In this regard he listed the names of ISM Dhanbad (now an IIT), Central University of Jharkhand, IIM, Birsa (earlier Bihar) Institute of Technology, XLRI, XISS, Law University, Rakhya Shakti Vidyalaya, RIT, dental colleges, three medical colleges and several engineering colleges.

He said the Centre had given approval for opening national and international level educational institutions. He also claimed that his state had made it easy to study abroad.
