JD(U) hints of action against MLA who threatened to shoot rivals

Patna,(BiharTimes): Janata Dal (United) on Tuesday gave enough hint of taking action against the party MLA from Gopalpur, Narendra Kumar Niraj alias Gopal Mandal, who had threatened the political rivals with dire consequences, if they insult his party workers.

Talking to the media party’s spokesman Sanjay Singh said that the Nitish Kumar government never hesitates in taking action against anyone, be it Sarfraz Alam or Raj Ballabh Prasad Yadav. Law would take its own course howsoever powerful a person is.

Sanjay Singh was reacting to the reported statement of Gopal Mandal, who while addressing the concluding ceremony of a cricket tournament at Navgachia in Bhagalpur district, said that he is not afraid of anyone and can also shoot them, as he has been in and out of jail and has become a politician after that.

Gopal Mandal said he would chop off the tongue of those who insults his party workers.
“I am Gopal Mandal first, an MLA later and I also have a status in the society,” he was quoted in the media as saying.

According to him be it Narendra Modi’s or Nitish Kumar’s government, whoever insults him does not deserve to be on this earth.
