Patna,(BiharTimes): Commenting on the state government’s policy on prohibition former chief minister Jitan Ram Manjhi said on Saturday that chief minister Nitish Kumar is fooling people of Bihar on April Fools’ Day.

Talking to the media he claimed that plenty of discrepancies would arise at the level of implementation of ban on liquor. There is apprehension that country-made liquor might be sold with label of foreign liquor at an exorbitant price. Thus it would ruin the lives of poor people, he said.

The Hindustani Awam Morcha leader, however, said he would welcome announcement by chief minister Nitish Kumar of a complete prohibition in the state on International Women’s Day (March 8).
