Sushil Modi questions Nitish’s silence on minister-Shahabuddin meet
Patna,(BiharTimes): Even as Nitish Kumar said on Wednesday that full
information had been sought from the IG(Prison) the leader of
opposition in the Bihar Legislative Council, Sushil Kumar Modi, asked
as to why the chief minister is silent on the meeting between jailed
former RJD MP, Mohammad Shahabuddin, and minorities welfare minister
Abdul Ghafoor, in the prison on March 6. Harishankar Yadav, RJD MLA
from Raghunathpur in Siwan district was also present there.
“Why is Nitish silent? Is this morally right? The state government is
trying to dilute the case against Shahabuddin,” SuMo said as both the
Houses of the state Assembly was rocked by the issue.
