Lalu, Rabri see no wrong, in meeting but Tej Pratap condemns it
Patna,(BiharTimes): While RJD chief Lalu Prasad on Tuesday saw no
wrong in any such meeting in jail his elder son and health minister
Tej Pratap holds entirely different view.“Nindanya hai aur gaye to photo nahin kinchna chaiye,”(It is
condemnable. And if the minister had gone there what was the need for
getting photographed),” he said on Wednesday.
On the other hand former chief minister Rabri Devi strongly defended
Abdul Ghafoor by citing a number of such examples involving BJP
leaders. She was clearly hinting at Pappu Yadav’s meeting prime
minister Narendra Modi and getting Y-category protection just before
the last year’s Assembly election.
Younger son and deputy chief minister Tejaswi Prasad Yadav too
defended the ministerial colleague.
While JD(U) is maintaining silence the minorities’ welfare minister
Abdul Ghafoor said that “I went there but I have not taken my mobile
and I do not know who took photograph,” he said.
The minister said that he was in Siwan on a private visit and was
putting up at an official bungalow near jail. He took due permission
from jail authorities before meeting Shahabuddin.
