Nitish to address rally in PM’s constituency of Varanasi on April 10

Patna,(BiharTimes): Rashtriya Lok Dal and Janata Dal (United) have the same political background and ideology. Meetings take place between the leaders of the two parties to explore better cooperation. This was stated by the chief minister Nitish Kumar in the state capital on Wednesday.

Nitish was answering newsmen’s query on possibility of forming a grand alliance in UP with Janata Dal (United) and RLD as important constituents with Congress too a partner.

After last year’s bitter experience the Bihar chief minister is maintaining distance from Samajwadi Party, though a section of its leaders like Shipal Yadav are still inclined towards the JD(U), RJD and Congress. Shivpal is Mulayam Singh’s brother and a minister in the Akhilesh Singh’s government. Nitish, Lalu Prasad and Tejaswi Prasad recently attended his son’s marriage ceremony in Lucknow.

As per plan Nitish would be addressing a public meeting in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s constituency, Varanasi, on April 10.

According to Sri Nath Singh Patel, UP state vice president of the Janata Dal (United), Nitish will address a rally at Cutting Memorial Inter College ground where he would explore the possibility of bringing like-minded parties under one umbrella.

Rashtriya Lok Dal national president Chaudhary Ajit Singh would also attend the event.
