Farooq Abdullah blasts Owaisi, praises Nitish, Lalu

Patna,(BiharTimes): Former Jammu and Kashmir chief minister Farooq on Saturday strongly criticized the leader of All India Majlis-e-Ittehad-ul-Muslimeen, Asaduddin Owaisi, for “talking like a fool.”
After inaugurating the Patna Golf Club’s (PGC) centenary celebration, he said: “You all know what kind of a person Owaisi is."

Commenting on AIMIM chief’s opposition to the chanting of Bharat mata ki jai Farooq said: "What is wrong in chanting Bharat mata ki jai? We all live on this land and one day we will take our last breath here.”

Praising chief minister Nitish Kumar and RJD chief Lalu Prasad he said “Your chief minister is very good and by the grace of God both Nitish and Lalu have come together for the development of the state.”

Farooq said when he had come to Bihar in 1980s for election campaign the condition of roads was pathetic. Poverty was rampant. But today they have all changed.

As a golf lover he asked the Bihar government to promote sports and culture in the state besides developing the airport at Patna, which was not suitable for landing of big aircraft.

He asked the Patna Golf Club members to visit Kalhaar Blues and Greens golf course of Ahmedabad and develop their own on the same lines.

The National Conference leader also invited 20 poor PGC caddies to Jammu and Kashmir where they would be given the opportunity to play at different golf courses.
