Patna,(BiharTimes): A youth, incidentally named Nitish Kumar, on Monday threw a slipper at chief minister Nitish Kumar at the Janata Darbar.

The youth has been arrested and taken to Sachivalaya police station for detailed questioning. He was released at the order of the chief minister.

Later chief minister, while talking to the media, said that the slipper hit him.

“After the incident I called the man and asked him to sit beside me. I asked him about his complaint. He said he was protesting against the ban on ‘havan’. I said where have you heard about ban. Upon this he said that in newspaper,” the CM said.

According to media reports, the youth had created ugly scenes earlier at the Janata Darbar of former deputy chief minister Sushil Kumar Modi recently.
