Patna,(BiharTimes): Justice Jyoti Saran of the Patna High Court on Tuesday directed the authorities not to take any step against the P & M Mall, owned by film-maker Prakash Jha, till May 5, the day the matter would be heard.

Bihar Industrial Area Development Authority (BIADA) had last week cancelled the lease of the Mall after it was found violating the condition to pay a circle rate of 10 per cent to the state government on land sub leased to other parties.

Giving the order the court directed the state government and BIADA to file detailed report on the subject.

The Mall has an area of about 58,300 sq feet. It houses the first multiplex of Bihar, besides shopping complex and exclusive showrooms of multinational brands.

Sources said that the Mall is among 100-odd allotees whose lease have been cancelled for violating condition.
