Carrying liquor on Bihar-bound flights not allowed

Patna (BiharTimes): The state government has  asked the Airports Authority of India that not a single liquor bottle would be allowed on any of the flights touching Patna and Bodh Gaya airports. In-flight announcement would also be made soon to inform the passengers against carrying liquor bottle." If someone on board carries liquor bottles by default, s/he is advised to deposit it to the CISF personnel posted at both the airports," said state chief secretary Anjani Kumar Singh.

"Similar announcements would also be made at the airports from where Bihar-bound flights operate. We have also asked airport authorities to install baggage scanners at the arrival lounges to ensure the complete liquor ban in the state," Singh  added further.
