Patna,(BiharTimes): The CBI judge Devraj Tripathi on Thursday summoned RJD president Lalu Prasad and former chief minister Jagannath Mishra on Friday in connection with a fodder scam case.

This case is related to withdrawal of Rs 46 lakh illegally from treasuries of Bhagalpur and Banka districts by the Animal Husbandry department between 1994 and 1996.

In all 31 people––including these two former CMs––are accused in this fodder scam case lodged by CBI on May 15, 1996. The charge-sheet was submitted in this case in 2003.

Both the former CMs are on bail after serving jail term in Ranchi in an another case of the fodder scam.
