Lalu questions saffron leaders silence after BJP MLA’s aide arrested in Jharkhand scribe murder case

Patna,(BiharTimes): Rashtriya Janata Dal chief Lalu Prasad on Wednesday questioned the silence of the BJP leaders over the arrest of the representative of the BJP MLA, Ganesh Ganjhu, in Chatra TV journalist murder case.

Indradev Yadav alias Akhilesh Pratap Singh, originally from Barachatty in Gaya district, was killed on May 12 night at Chatra in Jharkhand.

While talking to the media Lalu asked: “Where are the BJP’s functionaries now? Why are they not demanding President’s Rule in Jharkhand? Why are they not using the term Jungle Raj for Jharkhand even after police have arrested their MLA’s representative Suraj Sao, in the murder case.”

In his tweet Lalu explained how “Chor machaiye shor”, that is those who are themselves involved in crime scream the most, especially on television screens.

RJD supremo said when similar crime takes place in Bihar, the BJP leaders shout “return of Jungle Raj" in the loudest possible voice. But now, when a similar incident has taken place in the BJP-ruled Jharkhand and the aide of its MLA has been arrested in the case, they have been rendered speechless. This shows their double standards.”

Alliance partner JD(U) said that the Simaria BJP MLA could not be “deemed alienated from the charge of murder” after his representative Suraj Sao has been arrested for hatching conspiracy to kill the journalist.

JD(U) state vice-president Nihora Prasad Yadav alleged that the BJP government in Jharkhand is trying to give a wrong direction to police investigation to save its legislator. The BJP leadership should take action against Ganesh Ganjhu like the Grand Alliance parties took against their legislators, whose name figured in any case.
