Taslimuddin, Prabhunath flay state government on law and order front

Patna,(BiharTimes): After vice president Raghuvansh Prasad Singh, it is RJD MP, Mohammad Taslimuddin, and another leader Prabhunath Singh, who have trained their guns on chief minister Nitish Kumar.
Taslimuddin has sought his resignation because of the poor law and order situation in the state. He made this demand after he was in Patna to attend RJD’s central parliamentary board meeting on Friday. It was attended by all the senior party leaders, including RJD chief Lalu Prasad.
Taslimuddin was not alone. Even former MP, Prabhunath Singh is criticising the functioning of state government.

“If Shahabuddin was holding Janata Darbars in jail, it only shows the administrative weakness of the government. If Darbars were being held regularly what were the officials doing,” he asked.

He also criticized the ‘media trial’ of former Siwan MP. “Why is his name being repeatedly dragged? Has he been named in any of the investigations,” Prabhunath Singh asked.

While Prabhunath chose to speak directly on Shahabuddin issue––which is a pointer to the fact that many RJD leaders are backing former Siwan MP––Taslimuddin has some other grudge.

He has been critical ever since his son and JD(U) MLA, Sarfaraz Alam, was suspended from the party after misbehaving with a woman passenger of Rajdhani Express on January 17 last. In the past he had accused JD(U) of being selective in taking action against the leader.

A few days back he went on to say that Nitish Kumar is not a “PM material” and he is “day dreaming of becoming the prime minister”.

“How can a person run the country who could not provide ‘sushashan’ in his own state, which is witnessing a spate of killings,” he had said.
