Raghuvansh talks about launching ‘Kaam Ki Baat’





Patna,(BiharTimes): RJD vice president Raghuvansh Prasad Singh said on Tuesday that his party would start ‘Kaam Ki Baat’ to highlight the promises Prime Minister Narendra Modi had failed to fulfil.


Expressing surprise and dismay over Modi’s speech during a ‘Mann Ki Baat’ programme aired in November 2015, in which the Prime Minister appeared ignorant about ASHA workers the RJD leader said there are altogether nine lakh ASHA  workers in the country.


ASHA stands for Accredited Social Health Activist. Raghuvansh said that to his utter surprise, Modi in his ‘Mann Ki Baat’ said he came to know about the nationwide network of ASHA workers after Bill and Melinda Gates praised their work. He said RJD has decided to start ‘Kaam Ki Baat’ every month to highlight the unfulfilled promises of the PM. Besides, other issues too would be raised through this monthly programme.He said his party would start a stir for paying a fixed amount to ASHA workers and also for enhancing monthly payment to around 20 lakh


Aganwadi workers in the country. The party would also launchagitations for providing more subsidy to farmers and payment of wages to labourers working in fields from the account of MGNREGA scheme.
