Lady Doctor Kidnapped from Bhagalpur, 70 lakh ransom demanded
Patna(BiharTimes): A lady doctor,doing MD from Karnataka was kidnapped on Friday from her hometown, Bhagalpur, in Bihar.
“We have lodged an FIR in local police station informing the incident,” Ajay Kumar Singh, the father of the victim told BiharTimes. “She was kidnapped on Friday evening while returning to her home after visiting her grandfather,” said Vivek Kashyap, a senior bank official and uncle of the victim. Her father is also running a coaching institute for IIT aspirants.
She is also related to a retired senior IPS officer.
However, family sources also revealed that a ransom of Rs. 70 lakh has been demanded over phone calls.
