Patna,(BiharTimes): Bihar Governor Ramnath Kovind and chief minister Nitish Kumar on Thursday condoled the death of former Jammu and Kashmir and Assam Governor Lt Gen (Retired) S K Sinha.
Sinha, originally from Khajuri village of Patna district, was the former deputy chief of army staff. He died early on Thursday morning in New Delhi at the age of 92.
In his condolence message Governor Kovind expressed grief over his passing away. He described Sinha as a true patriot of the country.
Nitish described Gen Sinha as a brave soldier who had brought laurels to the country on the basis of his services. Nitish said that Bihar feels proud over him.
