Nitish rubbishes news of split; says all parties support demonetization, but flay implementation

Patna,(BiharTimes): Strongly rubbishing the media reports of possible split in the Grand Alliance Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar said that there is absolutely no difference on the issue of demonetization between  Janata Dal (United) and other parties of the country.

Talking to a section of media on Friday Nitish said that almost every party in the country is criticising only the poor arrangements in implementation of demonetisation and not the decision to scrap Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 currency notes as such.

He once again termed the demonetisation as a ‘Sahsik Qadam’ (courageous step) of prime minister,  Bihar chief minister said the November 8 move would benefit the country but hastened to add that poor arrangements in enforcement of demonetisation move is causing acute hardship to common people.

He said even former prime minister Manmohan Singh on Thursday did not criticise the spirit of demonetisation but highlighted mismanagements in carrying it out.
