Lalu may join Mamata’s Patna sit-in on November 30
Patna,(BiharTimes): Rashtriya Janata Dal chief Lalu Prasad may join Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee’s sit-in (dharna) in Patna on Wednesday even as chief minister Nitish Kumar’s [arty Janata Dal (United) on Satruday decided to stay away from it.
The sit-in has been organized in protest against the Narendra Modi government’s decision on demonetization Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 notes without any proper preparations.
Mamata’s Trinamul Congress has been spearheading the movement against the November 8 decision.
She will stage a protest at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi on November 28, hope to replicate it in Lucknow on November 29 and then in Patna on November 30.
Nitish will not be by her side, but the RJD boss might participate after Trinamul Congress vice-president Mukul Roy met him in Patna on Friday.
