Rabri withdraws controversial remarks on Nitish, says it was just a joke
Patna,(BiharTimes): Former chief minister and RJD leader Rabri Devi on Tuesday withdrew her remarks made on Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar after strong criticism from the opposition leaders, especially Sushil Kumar Modi.
Pressed by the newsmen to comment on BJP leader Sushil Kumar Modi’s comment that Nitish Kumar would be politically assassinated (or say finished) if he continues to be in alliance with RJD and Congress, Rabri Devi lost her cool and said: “Modiji Nitish Ko lejain aur apni bahan se shadi kar den.”(Sushil Modi should take Nitish and marry his sister off to him.)
This remarks caused storm in opposition circle forcing Rarbi to call the media again to say that she was just joking (Mazaak kar rahe thein.)
