Patna,(BiharTimes): Former deputy chief minister Sushil Kumar Modi on Friday reiterated that the former Siwan MP case as well as the lifting of ban on liquor by Patna high court have exposed the Nitish Kumar government in the state.
Talking to the media SuMo welcomed the Supreme Court’s decision to cancel the bail of RJD strongman and high court’s decision to lift ban on liquor.
According to him Nitish Kumar has formed an alliance with the party which has not even suspended Shahabuddin, not to speak of expelling him. If Lalu Yadav can get Anant Singh expelled from the Janata Dal(United) by pressurising Nitish Kumar, why cannot the latter ask the former to expel Shahabuddin from RJD?
He said witnesses are not safe unless Shahabuddin is lodged in Tihar Jail and all the cases against him shifted outside Bihar.
SuMo said that while Siwan Superintendent of Police and District Magistrate were sitting at Shahabuddin’s residence, he wore a helmet and moved out from the back door to surrender in the court.
