Lalu salutes army, urges parties to stop its politicisation

Patna,(BiharTimes): Stating that Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi lacks the art of articulating his point of view Rashtriya Janata Dal chief Lalu Prasad Yadav said on Friday that the army must be allowed to work freely and there should not be any politicisation over surgical strike.

He said that army and people of the country are ready for any eventuality. “I salute the army and there should be no politics over its action,” he said.

Lalu Yadav was commenting on the war of words involving the BJP, Congress and Aam Admi Party leaders.

His son and deputy chief minister of Bihar Tejaswi Prasad Yadav too gave a similar statement a couple of days back and appealed to the political parties to refrain from politicising army.

On the rape accused Nawada MLA Raj Ballabh Prasad Yadav’s visit to his wife’s official residence to meet him, Lalu said how can a person who came to his door be turned away.
