Patna (BiharTimes): Shreevats Sanjay, DDG(Deputy Director General) I ministry of tourism , Government of India has been awarded by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi for developing Gangtok as best and cleanest tourism destination of India.
Sreevatsa belongs to Bihar was earlier posted at India tourism, Patna. While posted in Bihar, he had contributed to increase Buddhist tourists to Bodh Gaya and coming of Pandav Cruise in which foreigners sailed from Kolkata and stopped in Bihar too.
Presently he is responsible for the development of tourism in all 8 states of northeast India. He was earlier posted in USA, UK and Germany.
