NGT order stalls progress in construction of Bihar Assmebly, other govt buildings
Patna,(BiharTimes): The September 16 order of the eastern bench of National Green Tribunal (NGT) imposing ban on construction of structures having a built-up area of more than 20,000 square meters in Bihar have affected the works in various government buildings in the state capital and other places.
Works have stopped in Vidhan Sabha annexe building, International Convention Centre, Bihar Museum, Bihar Police Bhavan etc have been stopped in pursuance of the order issued by NGT on September 16.
Foundation of all these ambitious projects have been laid in the last few years. Construction work is in the final stage in some of them.
