JD(U) top brass holds meeting to chalk out strategy for  poll-bound UP

 






Patna,(BiharTimes):  Janata Dal (United) president Nitish Kumar on Tuesday held a meeting with senior party leaders to draw strategy for the poll-bound Uttar Pradesh.

The meeting came a day after the JD(U) concluded its two-day national council meet at Rajgir.

The meeting was attended by former party chief Sharad Yadav, secretary general K C Tyagi, Bihar party president Basistha Narayan Singh, Rajya Sabha member R C P Singh, JD(U) chief of Uttar Pradesh Dr Ayub and two senior state ministers, Rajiv Ranjan Singh alias Lallan Singh and Bijendra Prasad Yadav.

The meeting also deliberated on expansion programme of the party in other states.

According to Tyagi the party chief will play a crucial role in uniting all secular parties to defeat BJP and RSS in UP.
