Lalu arrived at official residence of CM at 1 Anne Marg and had an over-an-hour-long meeting with Nitish Kumar.

Later, while talking to the newsmen, said the two discussed the ways and means to further improve the amenities at the 655 flood relief camps, in which 3.97 lakh people have taken shelter.

He said they also discussed measures to channelize limited resources of the state to fight the menace of flood, in which so far 61 people have lost their lives.

Lalu accused the Centre of not showing interest in helping the people in the flood-hit areas.
