SuMo suffering from mania : Lallan on his demand for registration of murder case against CM
Patna,(BiharTimes): Bihar water resources minister Rajiv Ranjan Singh alias Lallan Singh has hit back strongly at former deputy chief minister for spreading ‘bundle of lies’ and ‘baseless’ allegations on him and chief minister Nitish Kumar after the recent floods in the state.
Talking to the media on Saturday Lallan said Sushil Modi has ‘mania’ to be in news. He hurls unsubstantiated allegations against rivals by making such baseless charges.
The minister said the senior BJP leader by his utterances is trying to demoralise water resources departmental engineers who are working day and night for protection of embankments.
Lallan’s comment came in reaction to Sushil Modi’s statement demanding registration of murder case against chief minister and water resources department minister for loss of lives in recent flood following breach in embankment.
Media reports quoted SuMo as saying in Katihar a couple of days back that cases should be registered against the CM and the WRD minister under Section 302 for loss of lives following breach in embankment.
Lallan said that the flood in Bihar was essentially caused by heavy discharge of rain waters from Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and Jharkhand. The water level in Ganga rose above danger level at many places inundating many areas.
According to Lallan the BJP leader should prove that flood was caused anywhere in Bihar following breach of embankment or else tender apology. He is crossing his limits. He is a politician and should make statement remaining within limits.By crossing limits he might have to face legal action in future, the WRD minister warned,
