Govt money misused for JD(U) election campaign, reiterates SuMo

 

 




Patna,(BiharTimes): Former deputy chief minister amd senior BJP leaders Sushil Kumar Modi on Tuesday accused his former boss Nitish Kumar of diverting government money for funding war room of Janata Dal (United) at his 7, Circular Road residence during the 2015 Assembly election.

 

Talking to reporters on the sidelines of his Janata Darbar Sushil Kumar Modi alleged about, Rs 3.80 crore was spent on installation of hi-tech and ultra-modern audio-visual system and communication network at 7, Circular Road bungalow to convert it into the war room pf Janata Dal (United. It is from here that chief minister’s adviser Prashant Kishor ran the party’s election campaign.

 

According to him till recently the details were available on the website of state building construction department.


SuMo said he had written to Nitish twice during the last few months urging him to move to 1, Anne Marg bungalow designated for Bihar chief minister and vacate the 7, Circular Road which was allotted to him in the capacity of former CM.

 

Quoting from the building construction department reply to an RTI query, the BJP leader explained that at least Rs 1.22 crore was spent on the renovation of 7, Circular Road in 2015-16.
