JD(U) asks Lalu to rein in Raghuvansh, Shahabuddin

Patna,(BiharTimes): The Bihar chief minister on Monday held a high level meeting with his top aides, including state Janata Dal (United) chief Bashistha Narayan Singh and senior ministers Bijendra Yadav and Lallan Singh.

Among other things recent developments within the Grand Alliance, especially the utterances by RJD leaders Raghuvansh Prasad Singh and Mohammad Shahabuddin, figured prominently in the meeting.

Later, the Janata Dal (United) asked the RJD leadership to rein in the leaders of Rashtriya Janata Dal.

Speaking to the media after the meeting Bijendra Yadav said that even the BJP does not criticize Bihar government the manner in which Raghuvansh Prasad Singh does.

“We appeal to Lalu Prasad to stop Raghuvansh Prasad from making such attack on government in the interest of the coalition,” he said.

Bijendra Yadav further said the unparliamentary comments repeatedly made by Raghuvansh Singh on Bihar chief minister and the Bihar government are cheap in taste and unacceptable to JD(U).

On the other hand Lallan Singh said that they are more upset with Raghuvansh Prasad more than Shahabuddin.
