Tej seeks similar notice to BJP leaders whose photo appeared with Kaif, other criminal
Patna,(BiharTimes): Responding to the Supreme Court notice Bihar health minister Tej Pratap said on Friday that similar notices should have been issued against BJP functionaries whose photographs had appeared with a suspect in the Rajdeo murder case, Mohammad Kaif, and also with other criminals and tainted persons.
He said he respects the Supreme Court’s order but wish to say that similar notices should have been issued against several functionaries of BJP whose photographs had also appeared with the suspect in the journalist murder case and other criminals.
Kaif’s photo also appeared in newspapers with Union minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi.
Besides, photos of Iqbal Shaikh, suspect in another murder case in Patna, had appeared with Union minister Ravi Shankar Prasad, former deputy CM Sushil Kumar Modi and former state BJP chief, Nand Kishore Yadav.
Shaikh, in fact, is said to be a functionary of the BJP Yuva Morcha.
Talking to the media Tej Pratap reiterated that thousands of people come to meet him and click their photographs with him at social gatherings.
