Nitish accuses a few intellectuals for spreading falsehood about prohibition






Patna,(BiharTimes): Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar on Monday said that a few intellectuals deprived of their quota of 1-2 peg are spreading falsehood regarding liquor ban in Bihar.

Speaking  at the one-day JD(U) state council meeting Nitish, as the national president of the party, appealed to 40 lakh party workers to counter the falsehood by vociferously speaking in favour of alcohol ban.

Highlighting the importance of free-speech in democracy he urged partymen to use their verbal power to propagate the significance of prohibition.

Nitish asked state party leadership to take out “prabhat pheri” and hold “sankalp sabha” on Gandhi Jayanti to promote “jan chetna" (peoples awareness) in favour of prohibition and "seven resolves”..
