Patna,(BiharTimes): Patna will soon have at least six more flights for Bangalore, Ranchi, Delhi and Lucknow. While four such flights would come into operation from May one each would start flying from June and July.
At the same time several existing flights will stop services in the next two months as per the summer schedule of flights.
IndiGo is going to start two new flights for Bangalore from May 1. One flight will leave Patna for Bangalore at 9.30 AM every Tuesday and arrive in Bangalore at 11.50 AM the other one will take off from Patna airport at 11.30 AM on all days except Tuesday. It will reach Bangalore at 2.05 PM.
IndiGo is also launching a new flight for Ranchi from May 1. Flight 6E 485 will leave Patna at 3.05 PM and reach Ranchi at 3.50 PM.
IndiGo is also starting a new flight from Patna to Lucknow from July 1. The 6E 633, will leave Patna at 8.15 PM and reach Lucknow at 9.10 PM.
IndiGo is also launching another new flight to New Delhi from June 1 while GoAir is launching another flight to New Delhi from May 15.
Besides, two flights will stop from this month itself and one each in May and June.
IndiGo's flight to Ranchi (6E 5325) will stop from May 1 while the airline's flight to New Delhi (6E 204) will run till June 30.
Also, Go Air's flight G8 271 to Bangalore will cease to fly from May 1.
Another flight that will stop operations from June 1 is Jet Airways’ 9W 724 to New Delhi.
With the commencement of these six new flights and with six other flights being grounded, the total number of flights from Patna airport now stands at around 30.
