Bihar BJP chief had a mafia background, says his own party leader

Patna,(BiharTimes): Accusing the new state BJP president Nityanand Rai of having questionable background and roots in contract business and mafia activities former state general secretary of the party Sudhir Sharma questioned the constitution of the new state executive and list of office-bearers. He further said that Rai owns ‘arbon rupiah’ (billions of rupees).

Sharma, who is considered close to the former deputy chief minister Sushil Kumar Modi, is said to be upset as he does not find place in the new committee, constituted a  week back.

He alleged that Rai reconstituted the state executive committee and appointed party office-bearers in line with his vengeful designs. Rai) has included in the list people who are new. There are some others whose antecedents are not even known, Sharma told a section of media on Wednesday.

However, Rai retorted on Wednesday that no one should consider himself as the only face of the party and only he or she was best suited for it.

On the allegation of amassing wealth Rai said anyone was free to visit his village and house and assess for himself the wealth he had made or owned.
