SuMo has the habit of looking for a scam in everything: Lalu
Patna,(BiharTimes): Hitting out at BJP leader Sushil Kumar Modi, Rashtriya Janata Dal president Lalu Prasad said on Sunday that the former deputy chief minister is habitual of making such false allegations against him. He has this habit of looking for a scam in everything.
Speaking at a Press conference at his residence, the RJD leader also said that Sushi Modi himself is a 'ghotalebaaz’ (scamsters).
He said people who always cry ‘ghotala-ghotala’ are those who themselves are scamsters.
The Press conference was called to counter repeated allegations levelled by Sushil Modi regarding alleged involvement of Lalu Yadav’s family in the construction of a mall on two acres of land from an hotelier at the western outskirts of Patna.
Lalu dubbed SuMo’s allegation as a part of a larger conspiracy of the saffron party to indulge in character assassination of leaders of political rivals. He charged the saffron party of dividing the society on communal line.
However,Lalu admitted that the two-acre land on which Bihar’s biggest mall was being constructed, belonged to the company owned by his family.
Earlier on Saturday Lalu said that he would give a befitting reply to Sushil Modi at an opportune time.
